Butterflies Are Free Pink Scrapbook Paper

Click on the free pink scrapbook paper to see it full size and download it.

I call this free pink scrapbook paper Butterflies Are Free, because it features all kinds of delicate butterflies flitting around among spring flowers. The butterfly and flower images are subtle and in white, so you probably can't tell what they look like unless you click on the scrapbook paper thumbnail and see it full-size.

This pink scrapbook paper would be perfect for a handmade spring or summer birthday card or a scrapbook page about a wonderful day spent outdoors. Try pairing it with some of my spring clip art. Or if this isn't your cup of tea, try some of my other free flower scrapbook papers. Whatever you do with it, I hope you enjoy using it! Feel free to leave me a comment with a link to a photo of something you've made with this or any of my other scrapbook papers. I would love to see your creativity!

Green Vines Scrapbook Paper

Click on the free green scrapbook paper to see it full size and download it.

This free green scrapbook paper has intertwining vines, just like the navy blue scrapbook paper I just posted. This scrapbook paper definitely reminds me of spring. Not only does it have the colors of fresh asparagus and grass sprouts, but the design is bursting with energy. It would look terrific with purple, pink or yellow accents. There are probably also a lot of other colors that would go well with it.

I used two layers of color for the vines in this paper and I like the multi-dimensional look that gives it. I'm sure it will come in useful for a few spring and summer projects! I hope you enjoy using it.

Free Navy Blue Vines Scrapbook Paper

Click on the free navy blue scrapbook paper to see it full size and download it.

This free digital navy blue scrapbook paper features layers of creeping, intertwining vines, vaguely reminiscent of the tangles of water plants we have in the Everglades down here in South Florida. (4-1-2010 update: If you like green, you might also like this green scrapbook paper I just posted that has the same vine design.)

This modern scrapbooking paper design has a slight texture to it, so it almost looks like fabric. It's the result of an early morning spent experimenting in Picnik, the free graphics program. The design is a bit wild-looking but that's what I like that about it. It's also quite a departure from my usual button-down style. If you like this particular look, please leave me a comment so I'll know to make more of them.

Also, if you're so inclined, please put the new Free Scrapbooking Supplies button on your blog. You'll find the code in the sidebar. Thanks! :-)

Free Regal Red Scrapbook Paper

Click on the free regal red scrapbook paper to see it full size and download it.

This call this red scrapbook paper "regal" because the color reminds me of English palaces, or our American counterpart, Hearst Castle. For those who haven't been there, Hearst Castle is located in Northern California and is the closest thing we Americans have to a palace. Owned by William Randolph Hearst, the castle was as lavish as any castle in England. My parents used to take me there when I was a child and I remember not being able to get enough of the opulence. It was worlds away from my life in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley!

I liked antiques even as a child, so I was in heaven whenever we visited the magnificent playground Hearst built for his movie star friends. Anyway, this red scrapbook paper harks brings me back to the regal feeling of the castle. I hope you'll find a good use for it in a scrapbook, on a handmade card or for another type of project!Make sure to check out the sidebar for other scrapbook and clip art freebies.
