The freebie PU/S4H scrapbook frame above was constructed with images from my Fall Scrapbook Papers kit (which also matches my Halloween kit, by the way). I hope you find it useful!

Today I have to take care of some overdue housekeeping. I was so busy putting up my new DigitalScrapbookingSupplies.com site, I had to delay posting my gratitude for a blog award I received last week. So, thanks to Laura at the lovely The Alliance Trader blog for giving Free Scrapbooking Supplies the "Cherry on Top" award:

I couldn't be more pleased! It's my first blog award, so it's extra special to me. According to the award rules, I'm supposed to thank the giver, show the award, post a favorite picture, name three things I love and give the award to five other bloggers.

So here's one of my favorite pictures of all time. It's of my nephew Spencer at Disney World when he was two or so:

Look at those big blue eyes! And I'm sure you'll recognize the frame.

As for what I love, that made me stop and think. Here's what I came up with:

1.) Designing images
For years I made my living as a magazine art director until I switched to writing and editing. It's only recently that I returned to design--this time to please myself, not clients. The fact that people seem to like some of the things I create brings me a lot of joy.

2.) Watching movies
I love movies. I was even an extra in a few of them when I lived in Los Angeles.

3.) Spending time with children
I don't get to do it that often because I don't have children of my own but I always find myself uplifted after hanging out with kids.

Now to give the award to five other deserving recipients:

Scrappiness Downunder
Lesley is incredibly talented, prolific and generous.

Granny Art (No longer online)
Like Lesley, Helga is an incredible artist who freely gives of her huge collection of art.

LunaRosa (No longer online)
Kelcey of Lunarosa is also generous with her colorful and creative scrapbook freebies. If you hurry, you can see the picture she posted of herself before she pulls it down!

Far Far Hill
Skimersan of Far Far Hill is another purveyor of beautiful freebie images.

Engrish Funny
Although politically incorrect, the manglings of the English language by non-Americans posted on this blog are hilarious.

So, there you have it. Thanks again to Laura for the award!
