This free CU scrapbooking kit features 25 gold holiday elements, plus an ornate gold border and an overlay containing a field of stars.

As a take-off on the old saying, "All that glitters in not gold," I've named this kit "All That Glitter Is Gold," because there's a lot of glitter and it's all gold. You'll probably find at least some of these images useful long past Christmas and the other winter holidays, so you should be well stocked for gold blingy things year-round.

Sorry, the freebie kit has been retired

The kit will be free for a week or so and after that it will only be available in my store at DigitalScrapbookingSupplies.com. So grab it now by clicking on the preview image above! (12-28-10 update: The kit is no longer available for free. The link in the image above now goes to my store.)

If you like this kit or the site in general, please leave a comment below. I know it's easy to grab and run (I do it too), but I appreciate it if every now and again people indicate their appreciation. I make it a habit to give some form of "thank you" to other designers' blogs I visit by doing any of the things I mentioned above at least once every couple of times I'm there.

Please remember to honor the terms of use for this digital scrapbooking kit. It can be used for commercial projects but there are a few caveats. Please read the TOU in the kit for more information. Thanks!

This free personal use winter scrapbook quickpage features bright touches of color on a background that looks like a wintery, foggy day. The bright red in the cardinal and winter berries are there as reminders that it doesn't stay cold forever and spring will arrive once again!

To emphasize the winter theme, I found a lovely Robert Frost poem that provides a written counterpart to the wreath's snowy branches and the overall winter feel of the page. The poem is called
Looking For a Sunset Bird in Winter and I thank the Famous Poets and Poems site for providing the text. Thanks also to Helga Stolzenwald of Granny Art, Marisa Lerin of PixelScrapper.com and Gunhild Storeide for use of their images in this design.

BTW, you can find the free personal use wreath element used in this design on my Christmas scrapbooking blog. Feel free to hop on over there and download it.

Please remember to honor the terms of use for this digital scrapbooking quickpage. It can be used for personal projects only. Thanks!

This free Valentine's Day scrapbook quickpage can be used for S4H/personal use and features the valentines frame I posted last month. (That frame image can now be used for S4H, by the way. I've included it in the zip file with this quickpage, along with the terms of use.)

This valentine quickpage features lots of romantic bling, in the form of sparkly "diamonds" and glitter, and a beautiful heart-shaped jewel. The purple and spring green color scheme isn't necessarily traditional for Valentine's Day, but I figured you can get pink and red valentine images anywhere. Not everyone will have purple and green!

The quickpage features a simple but beautiful love poem by Jessica Blade. It reads like this:

I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
and forever it will stay.

The purple background and jeweled heart in this valentine quickpage design comes from DeliciousScraps.com, along with the diamond glitter rain, circle, ribbons and swirls. There is also a lovely sprinkle of sparkles that came from Jamie Dell, and the greenery and lilacs come from Helga Stolzenwald of Granny Art.Thanks to all of them for their contributions.
