I call this free personal use/S4H Halloween scrapbook cluster frame Halloween Sewing Circles, because it features machine-made stitches, buttons, string and straight pins, with a few fall leaves thrown in for good measure.

I created this Halloween sewing-theme frame in honor of my mother, who was a professional seamstress. She made most of my clothes when I was growing up, which allowed me to wear the very loud colors I favored at the time and couldn't find in stores. I cringe when I think of the semi-formal metallic off-the-shoulder dress in bright shades of teal and magenta that she made for me in junior high. Or the skirt and jacket with fluorescent (and that's not exaggerating) orange accents. You could practically see them from outer space. Yikes. Well, I thought it was cool at the time and my mom let me have whatever fabric I wanted. For that, she deserves to have at least a Halloween scrapbook embellishment dedicated to her!

Thanks to Gunhild Storeide for most of the elements used in this design.

Please remember that the freebies on this blog are not for commercial use (they're for PU/S4H only), unless specifically indicated. But the kits on my Digital Scrapbooking Supplies site can be used commercially, subject to a few simple terms. Thanks!

This free PU/S4H Halloween word art is an add-on to my Halloween word art kit. It's pretty basic, but I think you'll find it will come in handy for Halloween scrapbooks and crafts.

I'm not a morbid person by any means, but I must say that my Halloween kits have been a little on the creepy side. That's the point of Halloween, after all. I'm very happy with both of the kits, but I must say I'm glad to leave the dark side, design-wise, and start working on my two new companion kits, Home for the Holidays: Thanksgiving and Home for the Holidays: Christmas. I never know what a kit will truly look like until it's almost finished, but I'm planning lots of warm colors and a real homey feel.

But let's not leave Halloween just yet! If you'd like to purchase my new Halloween word art, just click the link below:

The word art is also available in a bundle with my CU Halloween elements for a reduced price:

Please remember that while my paid scrapbook kits are for commercial use, my freebies aren't. You can use them for scrap for hire, though, and, of course, for your personal projects.
